Backup includes the CHKP configuration as well. if you use backup then you're
fine, as far as you want to do the restore in an "equivalent" machine...

You can use the one that come with the SecurePlatform you have
installed, or the version downloaded that you have for the version you
are running...

If you are doing an upgrade, that would be when you would need to use
the newer version, because the package includes the upgrade_verifier
as well... - the upgrade_export is basically to pack and compress all
the needed configuration files in a "known" format that can be
transported easily...
