Hi! We had similar issues with the Intel Pro NIC unter NGX.
Look at /etc/sysconfig/netconfig.C and search for entries like "ethtool (64)". Remove the ethtool lines, reboot, retry. For some reason the upgrade wrote this ethtool (64) entry (whatever the 64 means exactly) into the netcard config, and after that we had issues with auto-negociating to certain devices (mostly older Ciscos with a 10 mbps interface). Take care, Marcus. > -----Original Message----- > From: Mailing list for discussion of Firewall-1 > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf > Of Paulo Vieira > Sent: Tuesday, August 30, 2005 4:46 PM > To: [email protected] > Subject: [FW-1] NGX problems > > > Hi everyone, > > I have recently installed a production NGX cluster and > although practically everything is working ok!
