I manage multiple clusters from a single mgmt server, and the
consolidated logging is nice, but the biggest benefit, IMHO, is working
with a single object base.

Who wants to setup all those groups, hosts, protocols, nets, colors,
etc. more than once? You could import/export the objects, but that's an
ugly way to synchronize objects.

Subject: [FW-1] [FW1] Single Smart Center | Logging question

Our firewall environment is about to go through a growth spurt.
Currently
our standard setup is a SPLAT cluster managed by a Windows Smart Center.

We've got as least 3 clusters that will be deployed later this year, all

protecting different internet drops.

Do I want to manage all clusters with one Smart Center? Or separate
Smart
Center for each SPLAT cluster? How about logging will all logs go to
the
same log? Or will a separate log be created for each firewall cluster?
Or
do I want to look at Eventia Analyzer / Eventia Reporter?

I wouldn't mind all of the traffic showing up in one log, I keep tracker
up
all day like the typical paranoid security guy :)
