Uname gives me "Unknown Command".
Ver gives me Checkpoint Secureplatform NG with Application Intelligence
Build 142.
Fw ver gives me Checkpoint VPN-1 & Firewall-1 NG with Application
Intelligence Build 315.
I don't get it.

You should be able to upgrade free of charge, as long as you've
Software Subcription (sort of maintenance that you optionally pay per
year- if you pay it you get the upgrades free - if you don't pay for
it you're not entitled to upgrade to new versions).

moment to contact your reseller to ask them such stuff. If something
