Subject: Re: [FW-1] NG-AI - Change Location of Log File
Hi,
In order to do this you need to add register
key. Follow the instructions below
1- stop the mgmt station - cpstop
2- run the regedit - start > run > regedit
3- Add to the registry a new string value of
'FWLOGDIR' under the following registry location
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CheckPoint\FW1\5.0
4- Enter the full path name of the new log directory (d:\FWLOGS) as a value
5- Start the mgmt. - cpstart
I hope it helps.

Subject: [FW-1] NG-AI - Change Location of Log File
Hi there,
Is it possible to change the location of the
fw.log file within a NG-AI Windows 2000 build.
I require to move the log file to a partition on
a server with larger capacity than default.
Have checked Global Proerties etc., but cannot find anything.
Thanks for any help in advance
Ravi
