Over HTTP, SmartDefense will block the following: App Name, Header Name, Header Value MSN Messenger, X-MSN-MESSENGER, .* MSN Messenger, Content-type, MSN Messenger MSN Messenger, User-agent, MSN Messenger MSN Messenger, Content-type, MSMSGS MSN Messenger, Referrer, webmessenger\.msn\.com You can completely block MSN by not allowing 1863udp, 1863tcp, 5190udp, 6891-6900tcp, 6901udp outbound. Cool thing about SmartDefense (NGX) is that you can also choose "management" over "banishment." You can create a rule to allow 1863tcp, and then choose to block video, audio, file transfers, app sharing, white board, or remote assistant.
