I'm not really sure what my password is (I have a password
creation/retention program that does this for me), but I can use my
Usercenter account on another machine and it works fine. This definitely
appears to me an issue with my machine, and I am going to have it wiped
and reloaded to see if it takes care of the issue unless someone can
give me a reason why it is not working.

My machine is running Windows XP SP2. Machines that it does work on are
also running this version, or Windows 2000. My user on the machine (not
connected to a domain) is part of the local Administrators group, so I
should have full access to all the files and folders. I have also tried
logging in with the local Administrator account, and that does not work
either.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Chris

I once had a similar problem and had lots of contact with CP with this
issue ending in changing my
password. My usercenter passwd had a + sign at the end, with this I
could login into the
usercenter without any problems but I could not update SD...
