The only problem that I can see that you might run into is one box can handle twice what the other can.
If you are running new cards in the IP-380 such as gig fiber and the quad 10/100 you will most likely need to run 3.8 or newer code, if you can get the same code for the 330 then you should be ok. So if you can get the ipso then youshould be ok, the other thing is the 330 might not keep up with the state information under a heavy load on the 380. Flows is how Nokia and checkpoint run so fast together, The only reason to disable flows is for smart deffinse or you are running some QOS which is more of a pain than it is worth. Turning off flows will slow the box down considerable, I do not recommend turning it off unless you are wanting to run smart deffense or have some QOS (floodgate) running. ================================================= To set vacation, Out-Of-Office, or away messages, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] =================================================
