Have you NT/AD guys check the WINS server for entries.

The Problem only persists with just few users and not all of them. The user having the problem can MAP drives using IP address when connected using Secure remote client. The user gets a message "Network path cannot be found" when using the NetBIOS name. I have enabled NetBIOS over TCP/IP on the users workstation but the problem still persists.
