Hi,

Yes I have managed it on a test machine, although it took a few goes.
It's very picky about which Solaris patch versions it needs. I think it
is patch 117461-01. Later revs of this patch cause the problems you are
seeing.

The Solaris 10 download from Checkpoint only contains the CPSuite-R60
package. Any other bits you need to get from the CD, which involves
finding and extracting the solaris packages under the solaris2
directory. I did contemplate copying the entire CD onto the disk,
overlaying the solaris 10 version and hacking the unixinstaller so it
passed the OS version check, but I didn't get round to it.
I think I also had to install the solaris HFA1 patch as well.

The first time I got it installed, it appeared to be working correctly,
but the gateway machine refused to download a policy. It turned out that
the management server install hadn't installed everything, and I had to
pkgrm all the checkpoint packages and start again. Second time around it
worked.

Hope this helps
