Hi,
I think you need to enable the HTTP security server and set this parameter
"http_connection_method_proxy" to true.

I believe this can be done via the http resource and selecting proxy.  But

We're new to the CheckPoint world, our shop is in the process of
migrating to them from Symantec Enterprise Firewall (formerly Axent)
firewalls.

Anyway, one of the abilities we had with the Symantec product was to use
it as an upstream http proxy in our users' IE browsers.  The CheckPoints
don't appear to accept http connections in this manner and we must
operate in a "default gateway" mode for the users.

Anyone aware of way in which the VPN-1/FW1 Pros can be configured accept
http proxy traffic outbound ?
