If you are comfortable with your firewalls now, I think you should better not upgrade. The only useful addition that I saw in NGX was Web Intelligence. And since it is 5000 USD for 3 web servers, the whole upgrade seems not necessary.
We had to upgrade from Solaris 9 + NG R55 to SecurePlatform + NGX and I am really not happy with the new configuration. The firewall reboots every 3 days or so, there are system logs which still cannot be found in Secure Knowledge, it seems like the NGX has some way to be stable. I suggest you stick with your configuration until some more HFAs are rolled out.
