You can copy the current rule base into a new name and use the "Policy" -->
"Convert to" option in the menu bar to convert to simplified mode VPN on the
copied policy. This way you can fine tune and test the new policy without
loosing the old configuration.

Hi

Currently, I'm on Checkpoint NG AI 55.... and I have one NG FP2 Firewall
in Munich.

My management station controls three firewalls located in UK, Paris and
Munich. All connected via a VPN site-to-site tunnel.
All the rulesbase are done in traditional mode and the global properties
is set to "Traditional Mode to all new Security Policies"

- What's the best way to switch over to simplified mode with VPN
communites? I know I need to re-do all the 3 firewall rulesbases again,
but I'm not 100% sure how to go about setting up the VPN communities.

Can I have both types of rulebases and then push them out when I'm ready
to the firewalls?

Thanks
Kalpesh
