Hi Alan,

I assume you mean Floodgate-1. You just create rules like a security policy. On thefirewall object, pick an interface, say, the external one, and set the maximum bandwidth there. I just use the external interface myself. Then you can set rules in the QoS tab.

What service will they be using to stream the audio? Is it really streaming or just HTTP downloads?

Hey guru's,

l'd like to control bandwidth of the service "streaming" on one of my clients Firewalls.

They're considering putting 1-3 meg MP3 and other streaming file types on their web sites for download (and streaming), and they have a 10 Meg burstable connection, and l'm concerned about these files hogging the bandwidth.

l did see the manage/QOS section on the GUI but didn't see how to configure it (if this is its purpose). Is there a way of setting service QOS parameters? If so where and how do l go about it?

Thanks very much in advance,

Alan
