Hi All, I've NG AI R55 on 2 IBM m/c's in cluster.
Yesterday we'd an activity of replacing single port NIC cards with dual port NIC cards on both the m/c's. After the activity, we logged into both the f/w's thru https. For the additional unconfigured ports, status was shown as down with 0.0.0.0 IP. These ports weren't connected in the n/w. As soon as we gave IPs to these ports, status immediately changed to UP and we were able to ping these ports thru the mgt server. We tried to troubleshoot but couldn't come to any conclusion. No cable was connected to these ports. Can anybody help.... Rgds. AF.
