Hi there,

We are in the middle of migrating all services from old network in to new recently. I had successfully migrated our secondary enforcement node (where it is running on Check Point firewall and RainWall service) to a primary enforcement in new network. Previously the former secondary enforcement node is part (primary enforcement or master node) of a firewall cluster. I removed it and re-configure for a new set up (with new IPs and etc), hence become a primary enforcement. Since all the services are behind this new primary enforcement, I plan to re-configure the old primary enforcement by uninstalling RainWall services and re set all IPs (on interface, hostname and etc) according to the new settings.

Now, my question is... Do I have to uninstall RainWall service before installing it again after it is successfully joins the new primary firewall in a new firewall cluster? Is there any alternative ways for me to proceed with the re-configuration without making any major changes ?

Truly appreciates your help. Thanks very much in advance!

Peace and warmest regards,

Al
