Matt,

I have encountered this before too.

Turned out to be nothing with interfaces, NAT'ing or IP but with the
default installed version of SmartDefense. ... Go figure :-S

Either perform a SmartDefense update or turn off "General HTTP Worm
Catcher".

That did the trick with us.

David

Subject: [FW-1] cannot install Policy after upgrade distributed FW from
R55 to NGX

Hi guys,
As many times before we I've updated a distributed fw with a multihomed
Management Station. upgrade mgmt >> no Problem upgrade both FW no
Problem.
SIC still works fine!

If I try to install a Policy I always get following error message
Installation Failed: Reason: Load on Module failed - no memory.

As few SK entries try to explain this has nothing to with with physical
memory instead it should be a problem with duplicated IP adresses and
Host
entries......

I've done more or less all host entries in the FW module and managemnt
even
we never had to do it before but i've done it anyway.
duplicated ip adresses we do have with purpose for example in the NAT
rules
'cause we cannot and don't want to use Cluster object at any place.

as well : since in the sysconfig is a position which calls something
like
define the management interface i'm not sure if this particulary
interface
is the sync inter face on the fw node where that mgmt communication goes
through or the external fw node interface which is the primary interface
configured in the smartdashboard.

any ideas and comments are very welcome

Cheers Matt
