1) Serial console access: depends on your hardware having that ability. The Dell 2850's that I'm running have that option available in the BIOS config, but it's only active *after* all the BIOS's are active. This means that on Dell's you won't be able to manage items like SCSI BIOS configs, but you will start to see things as BIOS starts to call boot partitions.

2) KVM, KVM over IP. Lots of different kinds.

3) DRAC (dell). I'm sure others manafacturers have similar. Through on-motherboard connectivity and redirection can give you console access throughout the boot cycle. DRAC is available via IP, and will require some typically standard jvm. The bitch with DRAC is that - last I knew - you couldn't change the id/pwd on the DRAC via the DRAC tools itself, so you had to secure access to the DRAC card via firewall or some such. The tools to reach and change those items were only available through a windows install, although there were claims that you could get linux versions (which you couldn't install into SPLAT without voiding getting help from CP).

The whole idea to have console access is that, I can manage it even when the FW

If you think, it is possible, Plz tell me how.
