It is a good suggestion from Reinhard but do not replace gtar in
$CPDIR/util unless advised by CP Support - it can mess up 'sync' among
your P-1 systems.

we had: NG R60 smartcenter, error-message "failed to create Version"

solution:
replace file gtar in $CPDIR/utils

I guess I can't attach this new gtar-file here to
the list but if you like I can provide you the
file in a personal mail (as it's a public available gtar-file under gpl).
