Zubair,

The Nortel hardware has an admin login as well as a root login that can only
be done via console. Log into the Nortel box with the root login and you'll
have a full CLI to work with. The password may have been changed but there
is a default password on the box. I'd think that you'd need to contact
Nortel if you don't know what the password is.

Hi guys ,,
I am running NG with AI R55 on Nortel Alteon boxes. I have to upgrade
the HFA from 09 to 18 in order to resolve the hidenat /pptp issue. The
problem that I am facing is that if I try to create or edit any file, it
tells me that the "file system is read only". I cannot execute the HFA
script because it does not have execute permissions. I also cannot
change the permissions because it gives me the same error.

Any help will be appreciated

Regards
Zubair
