It is documented in CP KB: MOUNTING USB DRIVE ON SPLAT:
- Log into SecurePlatform's Standard Mode. - Log into Expert Mode. - Create directory '/mount/usb' using command mkdir /mount/usb. - Insert the USB storage device. - Run modprobe usb-storage. - Run mount -t vfat /dev/sdb1 /mnt/usb. The USB drive can now be accessed from /mnt/usb. I didn't try it personally. I have to pre-build several SPLAT boxes using the upgrade_import method and it would be a real time saver not having to connect these devices to the network to get the upgrade_export file. None of these devices have a floppy. A USB pen drive would really be the most efficient way of doing this but I can't figure out how to do it. Anyone had any luck? -JRM ================================================= To set vacation, Out-Of-Office, or away messages, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] ================================================= ================================================= To set vacation, Out-Of-Office, or away messages, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] =================================================
