Regarding the below mentioned issue. After a series of testing, we've managed to get the phone registered with its display and everything. It's able to receive and make calls, but there is absolutely no audio.
I get the following messages in the Checkpoint log files: Service: H323(1720) Source: IP Phone IP addy ( 10.1.1.11) Destination: Avaya Call server(192.168.1.117) Protocol: tcp Source Prt: 6022 Information: H.323. ILLEGAL REDIRECTION: 192.168.1.117->192.168.1.118 192.168.1.118 ( Is the IP of the Media processing card within the Avaya Server which would be responsible for dial-tone) I'm thinking it has to do with different originating IP subnet-id's ? Any phone that we plug into the same network as the avaya server, it works -- but anytime we change the IP of the phone i get this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm having problems with the avaya 4620sw phone behind the netscreen on the trust interface.Ihave setup a test VPN using the GT and it connects back to my Checkpoint firewall. The phone remains with a Discovery prompt and the IP of the call server. The current avay PBX doesn't support SIP and i believe the phone system right now exclusively works with H.323 and its associated protocols. We have a softphone on a laptop within this VPN and it's able to log and make calls to other extentions that are behind the Checkpoint firewall. ( 3 digit dialing ) But there is no two-way audio ( i can't hear the other end, the other end can't hear me ) I'm currently running a Nokia IP 380 with IPSO version 3.9 and NGX R60 HFA3. I don't see any real logs telling me what could be the problem, but maybe i'm not looking at the right data ? Does anyone have an idea what to look at ? -- HBooGz:\> -- HBooGz:\> ================================================= To set vacation, Out-Of-Office, or away messages, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] =================================================
