Did you try to clear the arp cache. This could reduce your waiting time.

All settings of both servers are the same (ip address, pc name, same number of interfaces, etc). Disconnected the cable from old server and connected to correct interfaces on new server. Powered off old server. Powered the new server. When I try to connect to new server, I could not establish an ftp connection (it seems to hang). I check on tracker, it reports address spoofing. I've checked from CP KB that to make this to work is to disable on Smartdefense the address spoofing. I do not want to disable this feature. I thought that it was because I've powered too soon the new server without waiting for the timeout to lapse (3600 sec (1 hour)). Question, if I wait for the timeout to lapse, will the address spoofing error go away (I can then make connection to new ftp server)? Or is there another solution. Please advise.
