Hi all!

I have the following issue, I configured an IP Cluster (Multicast) with NGX
HFA_03 and IPSO 4.0. The issue I have is that the ICMP protocol is not
working as it should.

I have two switches connected via a trunk port. Each firewall is connected
to their respective switch, each interface has a different vlan, Everything
is ok, but for some reason, the pings do not respond as it should, sometimes
both physical interfaces respond and the Virtual doesn't, sometimes the
virtual and one physical respond and the other physical doesn't.

I connected two pc's in different segments, the communication works ok, HA
tests are succesful for the applications but not for the pings. When I
restart a node the virtual IP of the other segment stops responding and if I
restart the other node the virtual IP of the pc stops responding.

I was wondering if I have to add a static CAM table address entry.

The switched involved are catalyst 4504.

Any help would be appreciated.

Best Regards,

Lino
