We have 2 HP DL380 G4's and have two Intel Pro/1000 MT Quad Port Server Adapters installed in each. They are on the Check Point R55 HCL listing.
We have had no problems with these adapters, and we have a mix of gig and 100mb connections on each card! Can anyone tell me what nics they are ordering, using, etc with this Intel platform. I contacted tech support and all I get back from them if it is not on the list we don't support it and to keep my receipt. All they have listed for them is the integrated nic and a Note regarding the on-board Broadcom NIC is known to cause some problems in this model with a dual CPU setup. I was going to order NC7170 DP PCI-X 1000T Gig ALL, can anyone tell me if they are using this type and if so did they have any issues with it. I need 6 interfaces for these firewalls. Thanks for all your help.
