The problem is that we're running HFA_318 on P-1 and in order to upgrade to NGx,
we have to be running at least HFA_325 or higher on P-1. Even checkpoint
does NOT
recommend that we upgrade from FP3 to NGx due to "stability" issues. I like
to run
P-1 on the latest HFA which is HFA_327 but if we upgrade to hfa-327, it will
overwrite
all of the CMAs *.def files.

Since I read that in HFA_04 release notes that checkpoint will not overwrite
the *.def
files by default, I requested that CP gives us a special HFA_327 that will do
the same
thing as HFA_04 but as you know, those bastards said they can because this is
considered a feature enhancements, not a bug fix. Give me a F! break.

I'm vaguely familiar with Provider-1, but just as to what it is. Why can't
you upgrade past FP3? Would you have to convince all of your customers to
cough up licensing fees or something?
