MLM has to be the same or higher as NGx CMA. You can, however, log from an NG AI R55w to an NGx MLM/CLM but if you MDS/CMA is also R55w, the configuration is NOT supported by Checkpoint. Checkpoint will not support any configuration if both MDS/CMA is different than MLM/CLM. It took checkpoint 3 months to tell me that my configuration is not supported.
