Hi Sergio,

Thanks for the reply.

However, we are not using ngx and we are running Reporter on Win2k (same box as the Management Server - the enforecement module is running splat r55).

I want to know how to manange the database. I do not want to uninstall and re-install every time the database is using 100pct of the database.

If you want to start from scratch with the reporter, I guess you can simply
uninstall it and reinstall it.

If you have NGX R61, you can uninstall it with the command:

rpm -e CPrt_unify-R61-00

The command is the same if you have R60 (obviously changing the R61
portion).

To reinstall it, go to sysconfig and choose Products Installation.

Hope this helps.

Hi All,

How do you compact the database(s) in Smart Reporter? Deleting the
records does not seem to make the database(s) smaller.

Also, what is the best way of starting off with a new database but with
a new starting point/date of the log? I tried to create new db but
authentication is the problem. It seems the db user/password pair it
creates do not work.

Any ideas?
