Hello, I have a customer that has had a Floodgate (QoS) license for quite a while, recently I helped him to migrate from a stand-alone installation to a distributed 2 gateway HA (active/standby) configuration. He says that has always found the filter named "Top QoS rules" in SmartView Monitor to be very useful, but since the migration he has not being able to use it because when he chooses it a new window comes up asking to select the gateway for which the graphics will be generated but the cluster object is not listed, just the individual firewall modules. The problem here is that no matter if he chooses the active or the standby module, he always gets an error message that says:
"QoS interface not defined" It sounds weird to me as the QoS features work ok, but on any case, once a cluster is created, there is no way to define QoS settings for each one of the firewall modules' interfaces as that becomes a Cluster virtual interfaces configuration. Basically only on those virtual interfaces' properties there is a QoS tab. So the question I have is how do we manage to use the "Top QoS rules" filter in SVMonitor if it keeps asking for QoS configuration on the individual firewall modules and that can only be configured in the cluster object? Am I looking in the wrong place? This is an installation with everything running over SPLAT R60 HFA04. Thanks a lot in advance for any help with this. -- Sergio Alvarez (506)8301342 ================================================= To set vacation, Out-Of-Office, or away messages, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] =================================================
