2. manually defined... if you choose this option, you will be allowed to
choose a group or a single network.

You have define in a group....each network that you want be accssed via VPN
either a client or a site to site VPN.
for example

Group = myvpndomain
networka = 192.168.22.0
networkb = 192.168.33.0

add all the networks to group "myvpndomain"

1.- All IP Address behind gateway based on topology information.

your firewall have multiple network cards...
each card has an IP address and a network mask.
for example..

network card 1 = 10.1.1.1 network mask 255.255.255.0
network card 2 = 10.2.2.1 network mask 255.255.255.0
network card 3 = 10.3.3.1 network mask 255.255.255.0

A client or a site to site VPN can only these access networks
10.1.1.0
10.2.2.0
10.3.3.0

Assuming that you have a rule allowing access the the above mentioned
networks...

More explanation about IP adrdressing and masks can be found and any good
TCP/IP manuals...
