it applies only for the first administrator name defined and the only
way to update it's password was to delete it and add it again with the
same username and a new password.

for the rest it's better to use the smart dashboard to manage them.

also, for administrators defined by cpconfig in smart dashboard you'll
see that there's a special group called administrators_cpconfig which
you can't edit.
