This is the second installation of an Edge device running version 6.5.48 ,connected behind a Westell DSL modem/router, the VPN connectivity to a Checkpoint FW is not persistent at all time.
This is a small office setup.... DSL modem/router hand over a 192.168.1.x address to the Edge device WAN port. The Edge device has a default LAN of 192.168.10.x The Edge device has a DMZ (vpn) of 172.19.1.x (this address scheme changes for each Edge Device deployed) In the FW the Edge devices are defined for DHCP..... I do not have this issue....if Edge device (same setup) is connected on a cable modem or static IP address. Just wondering if someone else ran into this issue?
