I did it for a Cisco router. I configured the router to use the SmartCenter IP as the syslog server and created an OSE device for the router. When I filter on "origin = Cisco OSE device", they show up with the text in the Information column.

Subject: [FW-1] syslog information not received in SmartView Tracker
Date: Fri, 16 Mar 2007 12:51:34 +0100

Anyone gotten syslog messages into SmartView Tracker?

SmartCenter is running on Solaris 10.

syslogd is already running and receiving syslogs from a bunch of router
into /var/adm/messages.

Now I am trying to get those messages into SmartView Tracker.

I took a look at #skI4438. The NGX solution at the end there as this is
a R62 SmartCenter.

But as usually secureknowledge is totally useless, because it doesn't
work.

Anyone gotten this to work?

Regards,
Torkel
