Hello

I have also had this problem.
I solved it by installing the database on the management server.
Click on Policy, install Database..., and choose the management server.

If this doesn't help, check the lc_rt.log file on the eventia reporter

Regards

Tore

Subject: [FW-1] Eventia consolidation problems

I'm getting "Failed to get default parameters from server/database" on
Eventia Reporter when trying to create a new consolidation connection.

I go to Management > Consolidation > Sessions tab and Create New.

I choose our SmartCenter and click Next. I choose the "Select default
log files and database" option and click on Finish.

Anyone know what causes this and how to fix it?

Again SecureKnowledge is useless. I've tried #sk31153, but that didn't
work.

#sk31538 doesn't apply here as this is a R62 SmartCenter.

I haven't done all the things in #sk31283, but I can't just delete all
files in $FWDIR/log without any clue as to whether or not this is the
issue. I have however installed database, rebooted Eventia Reporter
server.

Any suggestions?

Regards,
Torkel
