No. Thats not it. Both my user and the password is just lowercase letters in this case.
I've also tried to exclude any permission problems on the scp server by adding that user as UID 0 and GID 0. Just as root. Nothing works. Anyone got any suggestions? I would think that several people here have at least tried it.
