Regarding Hugo's comment about a comparison between UTM-1 and IP390 performance, remember Check Point made the UTM-1 release just to help customers in the small-to-medium range to get a Check Point solution for less money (VPN-1 UTM license + Hardware = more money than a UTM-1 appliance).
Basically UTM-1 is not supposed to be a high performance appliance, it's just for that small-to medium market, and I see very difficult for they to start selling high performance appliances for the enterprise when they have made the "hardware platform flexibility" one of their marketing points against their competition. Which then leads me to think it doesn't make much sense for CP to kick Nokia out of the options. Making it short, my personal opinion is UTM-1 is no match for a Nokia IP390 appliance simply because it is not supposed to be that way, being targeted to a specific range of the market that does not need much in performance. My two cents... On 5/1/07, Thorsten Behrens <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:

Those rumors have been around for years on end, and they are as baseless now as they were then. 2) "kosher". Oh ha-ha. Yeah, CheckPoint is an Israeli company. We know. ********************************************************************** This email and any files transmitted with it are subject to the Integralis terms and conditions.
