Hi,
I am wonderring why one can not perform an mds_restore
of an mds_backup on different OSes. For example,
I can not do mds_restore xxxx on a SPLAT/Linux box
from an mds_backup that was done on Solaris and vice
versa. Checkpoint stated that because the OS is
different.
Which bring up another point. You CAN do an
upgrade_import on SPLAT/Linux with an upgrade_export
that was done on either Windows, solaris, AIX OSes
and vice versa.
What is so different about Provider-1 that checkpoint
couldn't do it?
