Your talking about actually running the management on the Nokia? I would not do it that way, I would put the management on a server and allow it to manage the firewalls that way.
I know there use to be a lot of issues with VPN tunnels and Client vpn access if you were hitting the firewall that did not have the management on it. I have not tried this setup since version 4.0, I know there was a lot of issues back then. ----- Original Message ----- From: "john maverick" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, May 11, 2007 10:53 AM Subject: [FW-1] Placement of Management server in Nokia VRRP HA cluster > Hi , > > COuld anyone suggest where would one place the management server in Nokia > VRRP cluster ...can it be also on any cluster interface ..other than sync > network....any gotchas pointers appreciated > > > Thanks and regards > > ================================================= > To set vacation, Out-Of-Office, or away messages, > send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] > in the BODY of the email add: > set fw-1-mailinglist nomail > ================================================= > To unsubscribe from this mailing list, > please see the instructions at > http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html > ================================================= > If you have any questions on how to change your > subscription options, email > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > ================================================= ================================================= To set vacation, Out-Of-Office, or away messages, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] =================================================
