Hi Mark,
we experience the same problem. Seems the double encryption (http &
ipsec) is too much for the edge,
but https without vpn was "fast" in our case.
you can access it via http and it should be fast. The problem is, that
the traffic from your client to the corporate gateway
is unecrypted. If its a trusted lan than maybe its ok....
The traffic over the internet should be encrypted via ipsec so easy going.
Kind regards,
Alex

Hello,
i´ve a problem managing our VPN Edges (X16) and hope you can help me.
We have a NG AI R55P on IPSO 3.8 HFA02 and Management R55_12 on Windows Server
2003. We manage our VPN Edges with webinterface until we get NGX. The
webinterfaces had ever been very slowly, from version 4.0.93 to 6.5.43 we often
had to reload the page in internet explorer to get the whole page loaded.
Now we have two VPN Edges with 7.0.27 and the webinterface is slowlier or most of the
cases it loads only the backround (blue and orange) and i don´t even see the menu or the
login fields, no matter how often i push the "reload" button. I´ve tried with
IE6, IE7 and Firefox 2.0.0.4. My colleagues have the same problem.
This problem occurs only, if i connect over WAN - means, if i connect over the
VPN connection with LAN ip address or over internet with external IP and port
981. If i sit in the branch office at the local network, the webinterface is
fast and makes no problems.
Do you have any idea what i can do to make the webinterface faster.
(heers
Mark
