Edwin, We recently upgrade from R54 on Solaris to R62 on Nokia, we also experienced some problems with VPN. We use a traditional policy and we used the upgrade_export/Import tools to migrate to our new SPLAT R62 Management module. We see that the phase 1 now needs to use exclusively 1 Hashing method either SHA-1 or MD5 but not both at the same time. In phase 2 we needed to (re)set the settings which cover the subnet negotiations for they didn't seem they have been migrated...;-(
Hope this helps, Dion ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Dion-ben Hendriks, Netwerkspecialist > -----Original Message----- > From: Mailing list for discussion of Firewall-1 [mailto:FW-1- > [EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Berkhout, Edwin > (W&O BO Service WAN) > Sent: maandag 18 juni 2007 14:51 > To: [email protected] > Subject: [FW-1] problems with VPN after upgrade for R55 to R62 > > Hi, > > > > I recently replaced a sun solaris R55 cluster in HA mode to a Splat R62 > HA.
