Hello,

I have no experience installing SPLAT over blade servers, but can tell you
that for sure the DL360 G5 works perfect.

If you have one of those blade servers handy, just try running the R65 SPLAT
installation and make sure all pieces of hardware are detected properly,
otherwise it will be a complete headache to make all that work. I suggest
R65 because it will have the biggest list of supported hardware.

If you still don't have one of those blades at hand and are just planning
before purchasing, I would not go for them given the fact they are not in
the official hardware compatibility list, so if you get into trouble because
of not supported pieces of hardware, Check Point guys will just tell you
it's not supported.

Regards

Has anyone installed SPLAT on an HP blade server? Any issues or gotcha's?

We'll be using HP DL360 G5 if not, but a blade is preferible.

Thanks in advance.

Alan
