Just wondering if anyone is experiencing the same issue as us. One of our
users has brought to our attention that they can't upload files larger than
approx. 30kb thru a java applet that an external site is using.

I've replicated the senario and am successful when outside (bypassing) the
firewall, but not when behind the firewall. That eliminates the java version
1.6 update 2. The internal host is hidden with a NAT hide. Also the java
applet seems to be sending chunks of data to the external host and tcpdump
indicates replies are either being lost or corrupted at some stage. Well
after the connection is reset (or timed out with an "error writing to
server" message) there are replies trying to get back to the orginal host
(behind our firewall) but they can't make it because the conversation is
over.

And yet i can take the same pc... place it on the other side of the
firewall, use the same data set... and everything works fine.

Any knowledge of this type of senario is apprecitated
