hi,

the only thing that I see here that you have to be careful about is NAT, if you
don't have that your method is good and easy.

Betreff: [FW-1] Host node topology secondary ips -Query

Hi,

We have a setup where certain nodes behind our NGX R62 installation
frequently keep changing their ips

NOw which would be the preferred method of change

1) We usually bind the new ips to the old host object topology

Vs

2)Creating a new object altogether and referencing new ip and deleting the
old one

Does method 1 have any drawbacks ..although we must say it works for us???

Pointers appreciated

thanks and regards
