Wonder if anyone has answer to this:
I have a SPLAT P-1 NG with AI R55 w/ HFA_20 running on dell
Server (4 3.2 GHz CPU with 8 GB of RAM). This P-1 has only
3 CMAs so far.
Today I migrate a SmartCenter into a new CMA on this P-1.
I noticed that the migration process (aka import) took about
3 hour to complete. During that time, when I run "top" with the
time interval set to 1 second, I notice at any given time,
1 CPU is at 100% utilization but the other 3 CPUs are at
95% idle. I thought all 4 CPUs should be sharing the
work load right?
Which bring up the question, does P-1 multi-thread
on system with multiple CPUs? If AI R55 doesn't do it,
does CP fix it in NGx?
