hi,

I move system2 to a dual processor P-3 550GHz system,
another Dell desktop with 1.5GB or RAM. After installing
P-1 SPLAT on it performing the CMA migration, the CMA
migration went without a hitch.

Hugo is on something here regarding the SMP kernel.
Seem like single processor machine, does not matter
how fast it is, will have issue with CMA migration if the
file size of the directory is 4GB.

Thanks Hugo.

There might be a few thing different in the SMP core. Can you try to
switch to a SMP kernel on system 2? Because some limits might be set
higher in the SMP kernel.

Hugo.
