We filter email both in and out bound directions. I've seen that if a remote mail has multiple MX records, and the lowest MX is not currently up, the email ends up in the spool\D_resend directory. I suspect the smtp security service on the firewall don't know how to lookup the other MX records and try them too. Can anyone confirm this and if there is an option to make it try the other MX records too??
