A few backward compatibility libraries will take care of that. But the gateway needs to integrate into the kernel. And that will not work with a fundamentaly different kernel. And from the last coffee session we had with Check Point Q&A it was not even on their list. So Check Point will for quite a while do some backports of drivers to support the newer hardware with the older kernel. Did you keep up with HFA's? SPLAT HFA's also fixes compatibility issues.
