We have a VPN connection established between us and a vendor for support using a VPN-1 Edge X device at their end and a R60 firewall cluster at our end. The VPN is configured to allow a Windows Remote Desktop session to a specific controlled Terminal server within our network. This has worked successfully for a couple of years now, however their parent company has recently added the same private network within their environment that we are using here, which has caused their routing tables to no longer route the connection to us through the edge device.
>From my discussions with the vendor, the only way for this connection to work at their end now is for them to connect to a specific IP address on the same LAN segment that our Edge device resides on. Is there a way to configure the Edge device to offer an IP address on the LAN interface that can be NATed to our internal address at our end.
