If you are doing a Solaris 10 build and choose the reduced network support
group in the documentation there is
no packages that have to be removed to harden the box.

To harden the Solaris 10 operation system before installing
VPN-1/Firewall-1 NGX:
1. Install Solaris 10 Reduced Network Support software group.
2. Install SUNWlibC package.
3. Install Sun recommended Solaris 10 patch clusters

If you are install on Solaris 9, the following patch (or newer) is required
on Solaris 9 platforms:

Number System Notes
112233-12 All
112902-07 All
116561-03 All Only if dmfe(7D) ethernet driver is
defined on the machine

To verify that you have these patches installed use the
command:
showrev -p | grep

Chances are you have a patch not defined or install Solaris improperly.

Subject: [FW-1] Error installing R65 NGX over Solaris Core

I keep getting this error when I install NGX R65 over my SunOS:

"cpconfig execution error: Failed to find reset command Check your operating
system and run cpconfig manually"

Can any one of you help me with this issue ?
