Yes, this is the way it works in Provider-1. If anytime your Primary CMA
system (MDS container) is down and you make your backup management as
'active', you would find both CMA and its backup in 'active' and 'collision'
status "*once your Primary system comes back up and online"* . You have to
manually fix 'collison' status first and then revert your Primary CMA as
'active' if you so decide. There is a procedure to fix collision status and
I guess it is well-documented now if I am not wrong - let me know if you
still want this configuration;-) and I would share those steps incase you do
not get them.
